Honor Flight Tallahassee Guardian Application
You don’t have to be a WWII veteran to enjoy this fulfilling day. Guardians are needed to help ensure that veterans on the trip receive the time and attention they deserve.
From the moment the veterans are in our hands until we return them to their loved ones in the evening, guardians will be asked to treat these heroes as if they are family and ensure that every veteran has a safe, memorable, and rewarding experience. Guardians are responsible for the safety, care and well-being of the veterans throughout the day and offer both physical and emotional support for veterans during a unique day. Guardians are volunteers and are expected to pay for their trip. Prices will vary depending on the departure city and airline fares.
Because guardians play such a significant role in our program, we will provide training sessions for all guardians prior to participating in an Honor Flight.
Healthcare professionals and active military are especially encouraged to apply. If you would like to serve as a guardian, please fill out the Guardian Application and mail or email it to the address on the form.
