Honor Flight Tallahassee Volunteer Application
The Honor Flight Network is a volunteer program created to thank our veterans for all they have sacrificed to make this a better world. This program would not exist without the support of national and local volunteers, working behind the scenes to provide the opportunity to fly our heroes to Washington, D.C. to see the memorials created in their honor.
Examples of volunteer roles include sending the veterans off at the airport in the morning and welcoming them home at the end of the trip with a cheering reception; answering office phones and entering application information into a database data system; fielding requests for information and answering questions; contacting veterans and guardians to make arrangements based on our projected flight schedules; and much more.
Your help is needed to ensure the success of Honor Flight Tallahassee and its first flight scheduled for spring 2013. If you would like to volunteer your time, please fill out the Volunteer Application and mail or email it to the address on the form.
